Ronnie's Chili: Submitted by: Homestead | Date Added: 3 Aug 2010 Ingredients:

* 2 lbs of ground beef
* 1/4 lbs Spicy Sausage
* 5 can of chili hot beans
* 1 can tomato juice
* 1 tbs sugar
* Chili Powder
* Salt
* Peper

Cooking Instructions:

1. Cook the ground beef and sausage together then drain grease. (note do not rinse grease off it will take away from taste) Also sometimes if I am in the mood for alil extra kick I will add some red pepper powder into the meat as it cooks. This should be around 3-4 tbs.

2. Add cooked meat to pot along with tomato juice, sugar and chili powder ( I have no technical amount here because I like to add to taste keep in mind you are going to be adding hot chili beans)

3. Add chili beans

4. Let cook on low heat for about a hour stiring every 15 mins.

5. Add salt and pepper to taste and maybe add more chili powder if you so desire.

6. I like to let mine cook on low heat for no less then 6 hours stirring ever 15 mins. I also like to allow it to cool at around 3 hours and then restart the cooking process.

*Note if you are not allergic the original recipe had 1/2 a chopped onion in it which was cooked in with the meat.
*Note careful with the chili powder it can be very easy to get it to hot and take away from the taste.
